Speedy (Charles)'s Story
I graduated from Bishop Union High School in 1965; I went from 1st grade all the way through. I was drafted into the Army and spent from 11/65-11/67; spent my year in Southeast Asia with "The Big Red One". I came home to Bishop to find out that all of my former girlfriends were married to my friends! So, I started over and found the love of my life in 1970 (Loralee Nisbeth); we were married in 1971. r daughters graduated from Douglas High and found their spouses there. We moved to Priest River, ID (North ID) in 1995; I retired from the City, maintenance division, in Feb. 2008. Later that year I had open-heart surgery to replace a valve, along with 1 bypass. I am doing well, keeping busy with .8 acres of lawn and garden; snow removal, Grandkids (and their sports), hunting with a handful of buddies every October, and whatever else my wife assigns to me!
My parents were Jim(Gus) & Edith Dawson; Dad passed away in 1985 & Mom in 1986. I lived at Wilkerson Ranch pretty much from the time I started school and up until 1984.
I always look forward to BUHS Class ReUnions and would love to hear from anyone. I am also on FaceBook.
